So after two years of successfully staying out of gyms I’ve come to realize the only winner in this little tug of war is LL Bean. How many pairs of slacks in ever-increasing waistlines can I buy? I’m running out of numbers! So later today I’m heading to the local gym, pretending I’m “interested” in signing up (when they’ll take one look at me and know full well I intend to pull out the pocketbook) and hoping to get a free coffee mug out of the whole transaction.
